This restored holiday-farmhouse is in the heart of
the densely wooded Garfagnana valley, one of the
few places where man still lives in harmony with nature.

The owner, Stefano, tastefully restored this farmhouse, which used to be a silk-mill, then pottery factory and has now been divided into independent apartments for two, four and six people. All of the apartments benefit from cooking facilities, bathrooms with a shower, TV Sat + CD-DVD player, private garden with table, chairs, beach-umbrella and barbeque facilities.

In the main building, there is a large common room used as dining room and also as a reception. Here you will have the free use of a library, tourist information desk, internet access and an ice maker to cool you down in the summer.

Outside, the property has a large swimming pool, with solarium, deckchairs and outdoor showers, table tennis, a botanical garden with century-old trees and plants. The use of mountain bikes and BMX are free for the guests and a private off-road track is located within the property.

The property also has its very chapel, full of charm for those of you who, perhaps, want to take your relationship to the next level! It is in this chapel that many of the young locals get married every year, many of which Stefano’s mother, a midwife, helped to give birth to!

In the farmhouse, you have the use of a communal washing machine, iron and iron board, and a wide selection of local produce, including local wines.

The town of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana is only two kilometres away and, here, you can find a pub, restaurants, pizzerias, bank, hospital, supermarket, chemist and a tennis court.
